Our MD, James Maziak, has recently completed his 2 year post as the British Compressed Air Society's 56th President.

As only the second Distributor President, he has steered BCAS with an unwavering focus on adding member value.

In particular he had a vision of delivering a National Compressor Engineer Apprentice Scheme. This was originally known as a Trailblazer and latterly The Standardised Apprenticeship Scheme. Early 2018 saw the launch of a new Training Committee made up of ten BCAS members across manufacturing and distribution.  Their mission is: ‘The development, review and promotion of training relevant to the compressed air and vacuum industry.’  The Committee are working on the Scheme that is scheduled to be rolled out at the end of 2019. BCAS's application to the Institute of Apprenticeships has also been accepted and they have been appointed a relationship manager to support them through this process.
