AREA SALES MANAGER

We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join the Maziak family, an industry leader in the supply and maintenance of compressed air equipment.
We would like to find someone with a proven track record in Area Sales. An industrial compressed air background would be beneficial, but we do offer a full training programme.
Reporting to the Sales Director the successful candidate will be expected to manage existing accounts and win new business for our services and core products.
Responsibilities
• Maintain designated SLA customers
• Spend growth with self-identified customer base
• Maintain CRM accuracy for designated accounts
• Pro-active targeting of prospect businesses within the designated territory
• Identification of future target prospects
• Reactive enquiry initial visits
• Development and cleanse of low spend accounts
• Development and cleanse of zero spend accounts
• Growth of accounts to Account Management status
• Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets
• Act as an ambassador and role model for the business
• Increase market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunities.
• Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
Essential
• Minimum 5 GCSE’s
• Minimum 5 years previous field sales experience preferably from within the compressed air industry
• Significant experience of developing a sales strategy and delivering it successfully within an environment where reporting and accountability are considered essential.
• Knowledge and awareness of sales processes, procedures and systems.
• IT Literate with experience of a computerised sales system.
• Contract pricing and bid management experience.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Good business sense
• Inspires trust and operates with integrity
• Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
• Excellent communication and 'people skills'
• Good planning and organisational skills
• The ability to work calmly under pressure
• Good IT, budget and report writing skills
• Attention to detail and able to handle paperwork

INTERNAL SALES/APPOINTMENT SETTER

This office based Internal Sales / Appointment Setter role involves interaction with cold and warm leads as well as maintaining and developing sales within existing accounts. A good knowledge of the product range must be developed with internal training in order to identify opportunities within existing and prospective accounts to grow our market share. The role also includes providing appointment setting support to the sales department.
The ideal candidate must:
• Be target driven and sales focused
• Be an excellent communicator
• Be self-motivated and have a hard-working attitude
• Be able to identify, research and cold call new customer prospects.
• Possess negotiating capabilities
• Be a team player
• Be able to work on their own initiative
Experience:
• Microsoft Office literate
• Working with a CRM system
• Previous sales background

COMPRESSED AIR ENGINEER

Due to continued growth, Maziak are looking to recruit a Compressed Air Engineer based in the East Midlands to join our existing service team. The ideal candidate will be time served from an Electrical / Mechanical background and have relevant experience servicing and maintaining Air Compressors. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to remain calm under pressure. This will be working a 45 hour week (door to door) with a large amount of overtime available + company vehicle.
All successful candidates are put through an ongoing 2 year training programme.
Duties:
• Carry out planned maintenance on air compressors, systems and ancillary products.
• Attending equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, identify parts needed and completing repairs.
• Complete relevant paperwork in detail, ensuring any further works are clearly identified.
• Keeping the customer informed and ensure all work completed is done with their approval.
Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience carrying out maintenance / service on Air Compressors.
• Ideally strong knowledge of Air Compressor equipment • Mechanical / Electrical time served • Full UK Driving License.
• Able to use own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
