Manufacturing an award winning range of underlays and flooring, with all products proudly made in the UK, this brand is synonymous with luxury and quality. Global customers have included palaces, hotels, restaurants and cruise ships, as well as millions of homes in the UK. Their Cloud 9 underlays are made from recycled materials and feature an anti microbial additive that keeps carpets fresher for longer. Other products are suitable for use with artificial grass and areas where underfloor heating is used.

A Maziak customer for over 10 years, they had a ASD47 SFC compressor as their lead machine and two smaller back up machines.  Over time this configuration was no longer fit for purpose.  The ASD47 was running constantly and the back up machines were too small to pick up the load in the event of a breakdown or simply the need to shut the ASD47 down for servicing.  Their fridge dryer had also failed, with a new pump required.  They had outgrown their equipment. 

We carried out a data log which showed that average demand on the system was 4.9m³/min with peaks at 5.9m³/min. The optimal configuration was to keep the ASD47 SFC as the main machine meaning they continue to benefit from the more energy efficient Variable Speed Drive. A cost efficient Fixed Speed ASD60 was recommended to replace one of the back up machines.  Plus the old dryer was replaced with a Parker SPS062 fridge dryer and Hiross Filters.

The customer now has a system that can meet their expanded demand and ensure no costly downtime in the event of a breakdown.  They also have the peace of mind of being looked after through Maziak’s Gold SLA and HPC’s 5 year no quibble warranty.
